LumberJack Competition

So,, We had Braxton and Cameron this weekend cause it's Mike and Shellie's anniversary so they went outta town.. BJ was super excited for the LumberJack Competition so we decided to take the boys.. I wasn't sure if they would enjoy it but they actually had fun.. We walked around to different booths they had displayed and it was pretty cool.. There was a bunch of birds and we didn't even realize they were there and then they would just move and it freaked me out.. We saw an owl and a eagle.. It was Awesome.. I think the boys learned alot.. It rained off an on throughout the day but it took us a while to get seats in the stands and once we did we were not going to move.. So we sat and watched 4 hours of competition.. It was crazy what the guys would do.. The funnest one of all was the speed climbing.. It was nothing like we'd ever seen.. It for sure made it worth going.. One thing that happened that was so funny was BJ told Cameron that this was a once in a lifetime expirence and that he was 23 and this was he first time going to one of these competitions and he was only 9 and he got to go so he better enjoy it.. Well when we were leaving he said to me,, did you know that this is a once in a lifetime expirence.. He was so happy that he got to go.. They were troopers.. 6 hours of watching Lumberjacks makes out for one long day.. We also took them to Cabellas and walked around.. It was alot of fun.. They haven't ever seen the big animals and the fish.. BJ was making sure they could expirence our kinda life.. All in all it was a great weekend.. Of course I ran out of batteries so I couldn't take anymore pictures but we've been playing the wii like crazy.. I think mine and BJ's arms are gonna fall off.. I don't know how the boys can do it for so many hours... They were up tell one playing it.. But it is alot of fun.. This morning BJ took Cameron outside to play on this little sprinkler thing we have outside the house and he was scared to get in the freezing water so BJ chased him around and they both ended up getting soaking wet.. Of course BJ wasn't in his swimming suit but he was having fun.. For a while I couldn't tell who was enjoying it more him or Cameron.. I think he was chasing him for an excuse to get wet.. We love spending time with the Nephews and Neices!!
